What happens
Three moves, start to finish.
A VPN is not complicated, and a company that explains it plainly has less room to mislead you. This is the whole of it.
The handshake
Your device and the exit node agree on a set of keys that only the two of them hold. The keys are new for every session and are never written to disk, so there is nothing to recover from a seized machine.
The tunnel
Everything leaving your device is sealed inside that tunnel. Whoever runs the network you are sitting on can see that you opened a connection to SecuredView VPN. They cannot see what you asked for, or who you asked.
The exit
Traffic leaves from whichever node you picked and continues to its destination in the clear, as it always would. The site you reached sees the node, not you, and we hold nothing that connects the two.
The ledger

Every provider says no logs. Few of them list what the phrase covers. Here is the entire record, including the one thing we do hold on to.

We count connections and bytes per node so we know when to add capacity. The counter is a single number per node per minute. It carries no address, no session, and no way to pull one person back out of it. Saying we collect nothing at all would be an easier sentence to write and a false one.
The network
Owned hardware, in racks we can point at.
No resold capacity and no virtual servers borrowed from someone else's cloud. Every node runs from memory on machines we control, in facilities we have walked through.

Figures come from a gigabit line in Frankfurt reaching a node in Amsterdam. Your own numbers will be lower, and any provider quoting you round ones is quoting a laboratory.

What does no logs actually mean here?
It means the eight rows in the ledger above, and nothing hidden behind them. We hold per node counters and nothing else. The privacy page lists what those counters contain, field by field.
Is the speed or the data limited?
No. There is no cap, no throttle after a threshold, and no slow queue you get put in. All users share the same network infrastructure with priority routing.
Which country's laws apply?
SecuredView VPN operates under a strict no-logs policy. The service is structured to minimize data collection — no personal information is stored beyond what is necessary for account functionality. Nodes in other countries are subject to local law where they sit, which is one reason they run from memory and hold nothing.
What happens when a court asks for my traffic?
We answer, because refusing to answer a valid order is not a strategy. What we hand over is what we have, which is a counter showing how many connections a node carried in a given minute. We publish the count of requests received and the count answered with data twice a year.
Can I run it on my router?
Yes. Configuration files for the standard client work on most routers that support it, and the setup page walks through the common ones. Nothing about the router path is second class.
